We Walk The Bridge of Worlds Artists-in-Residence

We Walk The Bridge of Worlds Artists-in-Residence: Owela is pleased to receive Sara Gouveia, Inka Kendzia and Zinhle Purity Mkhize who will be visiting artists in Namibia between 21st March – 4th April 2026. The three South Africa-based artists will work on an immersive virtual reality project exploring the intersection of movement, technology, sound ecology and embodiment. Using choreography as a guiding force, they will experiment with fragmented virtual environments built through real-time 6DoF and 360 3DoF techniques, drawing inspiration from natural landscapes. The process will culminate in a participatory workshop with students at the University of Namibia’s Performing Arts section. This project is supported by the Goethe Institut’s Mobility Fund.
